Unit #1 (pedestrian) was walking from the northeast to the southwest on SR-48 approximately 20 feet south of Dog Leg Rd. Unit #2 was traveling northwest on SR-48 in the left lane and Unit #1 (pedestrian) walked in front of Unit #2. Unit #2 struck Unit #1 causing fatal injuries.
