Unit #2 was traveling westbound on US Hwy 62 and was approaching the Five Points Pk. intersection. Unit #1 was traveling westbound on Five Points Pk. and it appeared; failed to stop at the posted stop sign on Five Points Pk for US Hwy 62. Unit #1 traveled into the westbound lane of US 62 and was struck on the right side by the front end of Unit #2. Unit #2 applied the brakes in attempt to avoid the collision. After impact; Unit #2 began a clockwise; quarter spin and rolled onto its left side. Unit #1 was pushed along with Unit #2's front end. Unit #1 came to a final rest attached to the drive unit of Unit #2. A utility pole owned by American Electric Power was struck. This crash remains under investigation.
