Unit #1 was traveling northwest on South Danbury Rd (South Danbury Road normally runs north and south.) Unit #2 was traveling northeast on State Route 269 North (State Route 269 North normally runs north and south.) Unit #1 failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of South Danbury Road and State Route 269 North. Unit #1 was struck by Unit #2. Unit #2 went off the roadway and came to rest north of the intersection on the west side of State Route 269 North. Unit #1 spun; went off the roadway; and came to rest northwest of the intersection in the median between the north and southbound lanes of State Route 269 North.
