Unit 1 was traveling southbound in the left lane of Interstate 75. Unit 2 was traveling southbound in the right lane of Interstate 75. Unit 1 crossed two lanes of travel and struck the rear of Unit 2's trailer. The driver of Unit 1 was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest in the left lane of Interstate 75.
