Unit #1 vehicle was traveling from south to north on State Route 43 at 7980 in the northbound lane. Unit #2 vehicle was traveling from north to south in the southbound lane. Unit #1 vehicle went left of center and crossed over the double yellow lines and was now traveling north in the southbound lane while attempting to pass three vehicles traveling in the northbound lane. Unit #1 vehicle struck Unit #2 head on.
