PROPERTY LOGGED: COPY OF SEARCH WARRANT; AFFIDAVIT; AND INVENTORY CONSENT TO SEARCH DVD WITH EDR DOWNLOAD CRASH TEAM MEMBERS ON SCENE: OFFICER JASON STATEN (CANTON POLICE DEPARTMENT) OFFICER JOE BAYS (CANTON POLICE DEPARTMENT) OFFICER TIM DAVIS (MASSILLON POLICE DEPARTMENT) ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATOR(S): SGT. ERIC BROWN (SCS0) REMARKS: ON 04/11/2024 I RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF 13TH ST NW AND CASCADE CIR WITH THE CANTON METRO CRASH TEAM TO ASSIST WITH A FATAL CRASH. UPON ARRIVAL; I WAS MET BY SGT. MANSER. SGT. MANSER ADVISED THEIR PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION INDICATED THAT UNIT 1 WAS STANDING NEAR THE CENTER TURN LANE. UNIT 2 WAS REPORTEDLY TRAVELING WEST ON 13TH ST NW. IT APPEARED THAT UNIT 1 HAD CROSSED IN FRONT OF UNIT 2; CAUSING UNIT 2 TO STRIKE UNIT 1 CAUSING THE CRASH. UNIT 1 WAS PROUNOUNCED DECEASED ON SCENE AND WAS STILL IN THE ROADWAY UPON MY ARRIVAL. SGT. MANSER ADVISED THEY BELIEVED THE IDENTITY OF UNIT 1 WAS WILBURN MARTIN; BASED ON DEPUTY HESSON'S PRIOR DEALINGS WITH HIM. AT THIS POINT; ADDITIONAL CRASH TEAM MEMBERS WERE ARRIVING ON SCENE AND WE BEGAN PROCESSING THE SCENE. THE DRIVER OF UNIT 2; THEODORE YOHO; WAS STILL IN HIS TRUCK AT THIS POINT AWAITING FURTHER CONTACT. THEODORE STATED HE WAS ON HIS WAY HOME FROM WORK IN TUSCARAWAS COUNTY TONIGHT AND WAS TRAVELING WEST ON 13TH. THEODORE ADVISED HE WAS DOING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH. THEODORE STATED THAT AS WE WAS APPROACHIN
