Unit 2 is W/B on I-90 near the W.98 Street exit and comes to a stop in the #3 lane. Unit 2 is stopped for approximately one minute in the lanes of travel and is struck in the rear by Unit 1 which is W/B on I-90. The vehicles become locked together and travel approximately 346 feet before coming to final rest. The two rear-seat passengers in Unit 2 suffer fatal injuries.
