This accident occurred on Monday, February 26th 2024 at approximately 3:14 pm. Injuries were reported. An officer from Crosby (Township of) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

 Unit 2 was a dump truck; traveling southbound on Dry Fork Road; approaching the intersection of Short Road. As Unit 2 continued traveling south; Unit 1; a Ford F150; began to make a left turn from the stop sign located on Short Road; to proceed north on Dry Fork Road.At this point a collision occurred; as Unit 1 failed to yield to Unit 2. The front portion of Unit 2 impacted the left side portion of Unit 1; causing disabling damage to Unit 2; and severe disabling damage to Unit 1; which resulted in the driver of Unit 1 sustaining fatal injuries.The driver of Unit 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash but was transported by squad to evaluate an elevated blood pressure status.  The driver of Unit 1 was pronounced deceased at the scene by Dr. Anne Liab at 1543 hrs. on 2-26-2024.
