Driver of Unit 1 struck Unit 2 heading south on Tamarack Blvd towards Morse Rd. Unit 1 fled the scene of the crash. Witness observed Unit 2 being struck by Unit 1. Witness also observed Unit 1 not stop after the accident. Witness was unable to provided details about the driver or type of vehicle Unit 1 was. Unit 2 was transported to Riverside Hospital and subsequently succumbed to his injuries. Dr. Vanmalderen pronounced death at 21:50. AIU responded and processed the scene.
