Just prior to the crash; witnesses stated Unit 1 slowly proceeded slowly through the intersection of SR-747 and Tri-County Parkway against a red traffic signal and then accelerated rapidly.Unit 1 was traveling southbound in the 1200 block SR-747 (Congress Avenue). Unit 1 then drifted off the right side of the roadway; striking a tree. As a result; Unit 1 became both vertically and longitudinally displaced and began rolling onto its driver's side. Unit 1 then struck a streetlight; residential fence and utility pole. Unit 1 came to an uncontrolled final rest upright; partially ejecting its operator through the driver's side window; facing generally westbound off the westside of the roadway.   The operator of Unit 1 was mechanically extricated by the Glendale / Sharonville Fire Departments and then transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center at West Chester where he was pronounced dead by Dr. Frederick at 7:08pm. The owner of the utility pole (#H32084) is AltaFiber Telephone Company; 201 E. 4th Street; Cincinnati; Ohio 45202.The owner of the fence is Sheila Warman; 1195 Congress Avenue; Glendale; Ohio 45246.The owner of the streetlight is the Village of Glendale; 30 Village Square; Glendale.
