The crash occurred on the roadway on Progress Avenue at 1900 Progress Avenue. Unit #1 was traveling northbound on Progress Avenue towards Moler Road from Universal Road at a high rate of speed. Unit 2 was traveling southbound on Progress Avenue from Moler Road towards Universal Road. Unit #2 was attempting to turn eastbound into the parking lot of 1900 Progress Avenue. Unit #1 struck the front of Unit #2 as Unit #2 was turning left into the driveway of 1900 Progress Avenue. CFD medic 14 pronounced Unit #1 driver at 3:18PM. CFD medic 815 transported Unit #2 driver to Grant at 3:25PM in stable condition. CPD Accident Investigation Unit responded on scene. Unit #1 and Unit #2 were both impounded at Columbus Police Impound Lot.
