This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Tuesday, January 30th 2024 at approximately 6:34 pm. The driver of improper crossing. Injuries were reported. An officer from Columbus Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
On 1/30/2024 officers were dispatched to Morse Rd. and Stelzer Rd. on a report of an injury accident involving a pedestrian. Officers arrived on scene and observed an individual on the ground in the northern most eastbound lane of Morse Rd east of Stelzer Rd. along with a pile of debris and a damaged bicycle west of the individual. Columbus Fire Medic 28 arrived on scene shortly after and pronounced the individual. Officers also noticed unit #2 and its driver still on scene and secured driver #2 in rear of cruiser 62. A witness also remained on scene until AIU responded. Officers shut down eastbound traffic and called AIU to respond to scene.
