ON 9-23-23 AT 1021 HOURS UNIT 1; A MOTORCYCLE; WAS TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON SALEM AVENUE NEAR ANNAPOLIS AVENUE. UNIT 2 WAS LEAVING THE MARATHON STATION AT 4051 SALEM AND MAKING A LEFT TURN ONTO SALEM AVENUE. WHEN UNIT 2 TURNED LEFT ONTO SALEM AVENUE SHE CROSSED OVER INTO THE FAR RIGHT CURB LANE; CONSEQUENTLY STRIKING UNIT 1 AND AND FORCING HIM OFF THE ROAD TO THE RIGHT. UNIT 1 THEN STRUCK A UTILTY POLE EJECTING THE THE DRIVER INTO THE ROADWAY. THE DRIVER OF UNIT 1 WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE BY MEDICS. UNIT 2 CONTINUED SOUTH ON SALEM WITHOUT STOPPING. AT THIS TIME UNIT IN ERROR IS STILL UNKNOWN PENDING FURTHER INVESTIGATION.
