On 4/21/23; at 00:15 hrs. Unit #1 was traveling South on Interstate 75 in the construction zone (lane shift/activity area) and when near the 50.6 milepost collided with Unit #2 which was stopped and apparently disabled in the right lane of travel. Unit #1 also struck the Unit #3 pedestrian (Unit #2 driver) as they were standing outside of the vehicle. Unit #3 suffered fatal injuries. Unit #1 fled the scene and was later identified through follow-up investigation.
