Additional Narrative

Unit #1 was traveling southbound on I-280. Unit #2 was traveling northbound on I-280. Unit #1's trailer had an equipment malfunction; causing it to lose the left front tires which went into oncoming traffic and struck Unit #2. Unit #2 came to a stop on the right shoulder and Unit #1 continued on; before stopping at a truck stop.
