Additional Narrative

Unit 1 was northbound on New York Ave passing the intersection at Champlain. Unit 2 was on New York Ave walking northbound past the Champlain intersection. Unit 1 struck unit 2; unit 2 transported to St Vincents hospital. Investigation continues. On December 26; 2023 at 0900hrs. Officer Anthony Moore#2292 went to St. Vincent's Hospital to check on the status of Unit#2. It was reported that Unit#2 was pronounced deceased from her injuries at 0323hrs. on December 26; 2023. The crash severity box and the injury box for Unit#2 was changed from serious injury to fatal.
