Unit 1 was southeast bound on Lafayette approaching Summit. Unit 1 attempted to make a left turn to go northeast bound on Summit. Unit 1 was unable to complete the turn when it struck the eastern curb of Summit; going off road to the right; striking a tree; striking a light pole; ultimately landing upside down. An occupant of the vehicle was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene. TPD command; Coroner; and TFD responded to the scene. Investigation continues.
