This accident, involving 1 vehicle occurred on Monday, November 13th 2023 at approximately 10:42 am. The driver of white Mercedes-Benz (2020) drove off road. Injuries were reported. An officer from Colerain Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on West Galbraith Road. While driving; the driver of unit 1 suffered a medical emergency causing him to lose consciousness.  Unit 1 then drove off the right side of the roadway at a low rate of speed striking a telephone pole (Pole #HM08643) in front of 2941 West Galbraith Road. While unconscious; the drivers foot became stuck on the gas pedal of unit 1; causing the rear wheels to spin freely. Colerain Fire Department had to extricate the driver from the vehicle and determined that he was not breathing. CPR was performed on the driver of unit 1 and he was transported to a local hospital by Colerain EMS (Medic 26) where he was later pronounced deceased.
