This accident occurred on Friday, October 20th 2023 at approximately 12:05 am. Injuries were reported. An officer from Colerain Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit 1 was traveling westbound on Struble Rd. Unit 1 failed to maintain reasonable control going off the roadway to the left. Unit 1 went through a utility pole (not labeled) on the left side of the roadway. Unit 1 continued over the driveway of 3541 Struble Rd. Unit 1 continued through a tree facing a northwest location. Unit 1 came to a final rest striking a large tree. Due to this final impact; unit 1 became fully engulfed in a fire. Driver and passenger of the vehicle were unable to be removed from the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Driver and the passenger of the vehicle were deceased upon officers' arrival. Driver and passenger were later removed from the vehicle by the fire department once the fire was extinguished. Hamilton County Coroner's office took custody of the driver and passenger after they were removed from the vehicle.
