Unit 1 was allegedly traveling northbound in the 100-B of S Defiance St. Unbeknownst to the driver of Unit 1; a pedestrian was in the bed; while the vehicle was moving. At some point; the pedestrian exited the bed of the vehicle; by jumping off of the side. The driver of Unit 1 claimed part of the vehicle struck or ran over a part of the pedestrian. The pedestrian was rendered aid by Archbold Fire and Rescue Department on scene. The pedestrian was then transported to an area hospital. This report is under further investigation.
