Additional Narrative

Unit #1 was traveling northbound on Reading Road in the left lane when it struck Unit #2 a pedestrian crossing the road. The driver of Unit #1 stated Unit #2  appeared to be walking right to left (east to west) when the accident occurred. Unit #2 failed to yield to Unit #1. Unit #2 was not in a marked crosswalk when he attempted to cross the road and the conditions at the time of the accident were dark and raining.
