Unit 1 was involved in a fatal accident on IR-270 West and Sawmill Road Exit. The driver of Unit 1 was pronounced on scene by Washington Twnshp Medics at 1500. The passenger of Unit 1 was transported in critical condition to Riverside Methodist Hospital and pronouced by Emergency Room doctors at 1521. Detectives from CPD Accident Investigation Unit arived on scene and conducted an investigation. The Franklin County Coroner arrived on scene to conduct an investigation and transport the driver of Unit 1. Unit 1 was towed to the Columbus Police Impound Lot for safekeeping.
