The driver of Unit #1 was traveling westbound on Morse Road; crossing Maize Road. The driver of Unit #1 crossed the center media and struck Unit #2 which was traveling eastbound on Morse Road; approaching Maize Road. The driver of Unit #1 was transported to Riverside Hospital by CFD Medic 16 where they were treated by Dr. Scott. The driver of Unit #2 was transported by Clinton Twp Medic 61 to Ohio State University Hospital and was pronounced by ER staff at 18:17. AUI responded and conducted an investigation.
