Unit 1 was traveling northbound on Douglas just south of University Hills. Unit 2 was traveling southbound in the outside lane of travel on Douglas just south of University Hills. Unit 1 came in contact with standing water; which cover both northbound lanes of travel on Douglas. The operator of Unit 1 lost control of the vehicle; crossed the left of center and collided with Unit 2. The operator of unit 1 was fatally injured and pronounced dead on-scene by Toledo Fire at 01:55 hours. The operator of unit 2 was transported to Toledo Hospital with minor injuries. No insurance provided. Investigative Services and Coroner notified. Investigation Pending
