Description

Additional Narrative

Unit 2 was northbound on S. Burnett Rd. in the left turn lane with a solid green traffic signal and started to turn left; westbound onto E. Main St. When unit 1 who was southbound on N. Burnett Rd. in the left lane at a high rate of speed with no headlights on struck the left front of unit 2 as it entered the intersection. Unit 1 the went off the southwest corner of the intersection as it rotated counter clockwise and then re-entered the roadway and ejected both the driver and passenger. Unit 1 came to final rest facing west in both southbound lanes of travel.
