This accident, involving 1 vehicle occurred on Sunday, July 30th 2023 at approximately 10:10 pm. The driver of gray Honda (2005) drove off road. Injuries were reported. An officer from Springdale Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on East Kemper Road in the 1300 block; traversing a slight right bound curve at a high rate of speed. This is evident by physical evidence at the scene and statements made by witnesses to the incident. As Unit 1 continued eastbound; the driver lost control of the vehicle. This action caused Unit 1 to travel left of center and across all three westbound lanes of travel; before exiting the left side of the roadway. Unit 1 then impacted a large steel utility pole with the front portion of the vehicle.  Unit 1 then came to an uncontrolled final rest in the grass; facing generally south; located in front of the Burger King Restaurant at 1340 East Kemper Road. The driver of Unit 1 was entrapped in the vehicle and had to be mechanically extricated; before being transported by squad to U.C.
