This accident, involving 1 vehicle occurred on Sunday, July 30th 2023 at approximately 12:38 am. The driver of white Chevrolet (2018) drove off road. Injuries were reported. An officer from Springdale Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit #1 was traveling north on Northland Blvd. approaching the intersection with W. Kemper Rd. Unit #1 traveled through the intersection against a red traffic signal and off the north side of W. Kemper Rd. Once off the roadway; the vehicle continued on its path until it struck a tree in the yard of 120 W. Kemper Rd. with its center front reaching an uncontrolled final rest. The operator of Unit #1 was transported to Bethesda North Hospital via Fire/EMS; where he was later transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center via air care to treat life-threatening injuries. The operator of Unit #1 succumbed to his injuries at University Hospital. The operator of Unit #1 was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and alcohol is believed to be a factor. Toxicology results are pending at the time of the report.
