UNIT #1 WAS IN THE AREA OF 8501 E. PLEASANT VALLEY TRAVELING EAST BOUND. UNIT #2 WAS TRAVELING WEST ON PLEASANT VALLEY RD IN THE SAME AREA. UNIT #1 WENT LEFT OF CENTER; HITTING UNIT #2 HEAD ON. UNIT #1 THEN CAUGHT FIRE CAUSING LISTED DAMAGE. NO SKID MARKS OR SIGNS OF AN ATTEMPTED STOP WERE VIABLE AT THE SCENE. THE DRIVER OF UNIT #1 WAS DECLARED DOA BY THE INDEPENDENCE FIRE DEPT. (REF. INCIDENT REPORT).
