On 06/21/2023 at approximately 0815 Deputy Muncie and I were dispatched to the area of 4090 Cedar Hill Rd regarding a single car crash that had been called in. While driving to the scene we were notified that the crash was a multi-unit crash that include a fatality. When we arrived on seen I saw a Purple Chevy Cobalt facing south bound along with a Chevy Cruze that was facing south bound. Both vehicles had a disabling amount of damage done to the front portions; along with damage done to the mid sections as well. I was able to contact Unit 2 ’ s mother who arrived on scene after the crash and she stated that an unknown male on a motorcycle was on scene earlier that witnessed the crash then left prior to our arrival. The unknown male stated that the purple car went left of center and collided with the blue Chevy Cruze. Unit 2 ’ s Operator was transported to Grant medical center for the severe injuries she obtained. I was able to make my way back to the scene and the driver of Unit 1; who was identified as Danny Odell; was deceased. Once I obtained the mothers statement ; I started to take pictures and document the scene. Shortly after I started to document the scene Trooper Coffland from Post 23 showed up to help process the scene. Deputy Muncie and Trooper Coffland were able to discover a set of tracks that match the same path of travel of Unit 1. Trooper Coffland
