Unit 2 was turning from East to South off of the State Route 241 exit ramp from Interstate 77 on State Route 241. Unit 1 was traveling on the State Route 241 exit ramp off of Interstate 77 South. Unit 1 exited the roadway to the right and struck the guardrail. Unit 1 continued traveling Southeast down the exit ramp and struck Unit 2. The driver of Unit 2 reported no injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Per the Medical Examiner the driver of Unit # 1 suffered a fatal medical emergency prior to the crash.
