Unit 1 was traveling north bound on Martinsburg Rd at an unsafe speed. Unit 1 was negotiating a curve and went left of the center line in the opposite direction of travel. Unit 1 ran off the left side of the roadway striking the ditch. Unit 1 then came back onto the roadway in the south bound lane of travel. Unit 1 layed the motorcycle on its left side and the driver of unit 1 was thrown from the motorcycle; striking the ditch before coming to final rest. The motorcycle continued to skid along the roadway and off the right side of the roadway to final rest.
