 Unit 1 was a motorcyclist traveling northbound on Paddy's Run Road in the 11000 block. As Unit 1 continued north; Unit 1 failed to stop at a stop sign located at the railroad crossing and traveled upon railroad tracks; that cross diagonally over the roadway. This action caused the operator to lose control of the motorcycle as it began to high side; throwing the operator off; as it overturned onto its left side. Unit 1 and its operator exited the roadway's right side; striking a utility pole and guy wire; before coming to an uncontrolled final rest in a soybean field.The operator of Unit 1 was not utilizing a helmet at the time of the crash and sustained fatal injuries as a result.
