Unit #1 was traveling northbound on Kolbe Road. After passing the intersection with Oakcrest Drive; Unit #1 failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and traveled off the right side of the road. Unit #1 lost control; struck a culvert; overturned; and came to final rest right-side-up in the front yard of 4101 Kolbe Road. Unit #1's front seat passenger sustained fatal injuries. The driver of Unit #1 sustained serious injuries and showed signs of impairment.
