This accident, involving 1 vehicle occurred on Wednesday, June 21st 2023 at approximately 9:26 am. The driver of blue Lincoln (2017) drove off road. Injuries were reported. An officer from KETTERING Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit #1 was traveling NB on Mohican Ave. and when at approximately 75ft. S. of Crystal Springs Ln.; drove off the left side of the road; over the curb; in to a residence yard at 2701 Mohican Ave. and proceeded NB before crossing over Crystal Springs Ln.; and over another curb at 2685 Mohican Ave. at which time unit #1 continued NB and crashed in to the residence at 2685 Mohican Ave. The total distance traveled was approximately 157.' Numerous crews responded to 2865 Mohican Ave.; along with the Kettering Fire Dept.; in response to an accident with injuries. According to witnesses at the scene; the driver; now known as Elise Lunsford; had run off the road in to the residence at 2865 Mohican Ave. The driver was unconscious and not breathing and neighbors were administering CPR at the scene. Upon arrival; a woman; now known as Kimberly Stidam; was giving chest compressions to Lunsford as she was lying next to her car on the grass. KFD Medics continued life saving measures and transported Lunsford to the Kettering Hospital where she was pronounced deceased at 1000 hrs. by Kettering Memorial Hospital staff. At the accident scene; Shawn Morgan was present and heard the crash. He came from out of his house and found Lunsford unresponsive and not breathing. Morgan took off Lunsford's seatbelt pulled her out of the car; called 911; and began CPR with Stidam until medics arriv
