On June 10; 2023 at 1:33PM officers were dispatched to a injury auto accident involving a motorcycle. Officers arrived at scene; and spoke to Unit #1 and Unit #3. Unit #1 stated that she was in the east bound; left turn lane on Henderson Rd. to turn onto Olentangy River Road. Unit #1 stated that she had a green light; and looked left; right and then left before tuning left onto Olentangy River Road; when Unit #2 and Unit #3 struck her vehicle. Unit #3 stated that; Unit #2 and Unit #3 were traveling west on Henderson Road when Unit #1 turned in front of them. Unit #3 stated that Unit #1 and Unit #2 struck each other; and Unit #3 attempted to swerve and miss Unit #1 and struck Unit #1. The motorist of Unit #2 was transported by Columbus Division of Fire Medic 19 to Riverside hospital in critical condition; and was pronounced at 2:00 PM. AIU responded and processed the scene. Unit #1 and Unit #2 were towed by ProTow to the Columbus Police Impound Lot for evidence. Unit #3 was towed privately.
