This accident, involving 4 vehicles occurred on Sunday, May 28th 2023 at approximately 5:48 pm. The driver of blue Slingshot (2018) other improper action. Injuries were reported. An officer from Franklin (Township of) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 1 was travelling north on Phillipi Road from W. Broad Street. Unit 2 was travelling south on Phillipi Road  in  the left turn lane  just north of W. Broad Street.   Unit 1 failed to maintain reasonable control and and went left of center and struck Unit#2. Unit 1 broke off it's left front wheel; and continued north on Phillipi Road and drove across the south bound  lanes of travel where it  struck the curb of the roadway and then struck a pole on the edge of 101 Phillipi Road protecting the car lot. Unit 1  then struck Unit 3; which was  a used car for sale on the lot of 101 Phillipi Road.  Unit 1 then struck Unit 4 which was used car for sale on the lot of 101 Phillipi Road; and it came to rest on top of Unit 4.  The Unit 1 passenger was transported by Franklin Township Medic #192  in critical condition to Grant Hospital The motorist of Unit 1 was transported by Columbus Fire Medic 12 to Grant ER ; and was  pronounced deceased at 6:46 pm.   Supplement generated to add owner to unit 1
