Unit 1 was EB on IR 90 and entered the 170B exit ramp to IR 71S; which has an uphill grade and a left to right curve. Uni 1 traveled off the left side of the roadway; striking a road sign in the grassy median. Both the operator and passenger were thrown from Unit 1. Unit 1 continued in a SE direction across the entrance ramp from IR 490 W to 71S; before coming to rest in thr grassy area east of the roadway.
