At about 2045 hours on November 21; 2022; unit number one was traveling northwest through a construction zone on Wayne Avenue in the single southeast-bound lane on the wrong side of the roadway and; when at 1542 Wayne Avenue; attempted to change lanes to the northwest-bound lane; as Unit number one came out of the construction zone and; in so doing collided with unit number two. Unit number two was traveling northwest on Wayne Avenue in the only travel lane. Unit number one continued to travel northeast; hitting the east curb on Wayne Avenue before striking an RTA pole. The driver of unit number one fled the scene; failing to stop and properly identify themselves as required by law.
