This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Tuesday, November 15th 2022 at approximately 3:15 pm. The driver of white Kenworth (2020) failure to yield. Injuries were reported. An officer from Oregon Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit 1 was traveling east on Corduroy Road approaching North Wynn Road. Unit 2 was traveling south on North Wynn Road approaching Corduroy Road. Unit 2 came up to a stop sign at the intersection; at which time the Driver of Unit 2 stated she stopped. Unit 2 then proceed through the intersection. Unit 1; controlled by a flashing yellow signal; then entered the intersection and struck Unit 2 back tire. As a result Unit 1 was severely damaged and the driver perished. Unit 2 sustained disabling damage and the driver reported no injuries.
