Additional Narrative

Both Units were southbound on US 42. Unit 1 failed to maintain an assured cleared distance ahead and struck Unit 2. Unit 2 spun out; ejected the driver and struck a guardrail. Unit 1 traveled through the grass median; across the northbound lanes of US 42 and off the east side of the roadway. Unit 1 jack knifed; struck a ditch and overturned on a tree and a fence.
