Description

Additional Narrative

Unit 3 (Fire Engine) was blocking the right two lanes on Interstate 70 eastbound due to a seperate crash. Unit 4 was involved in the prior crash; and was disabled in the right lane. Both units 1 and 2 were eastbound on IR 70 and unit 2 stopped for the previous crash. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in the rear causing Unit 2 to drive off the right side of the roadway; strike a guardrail and then striking unit 4. Unit 1 then struck Unit 3 before driving off the left side of the roadway striking the concrete medain barrier.
