Unit #1 was traveling southeast on Interstate 76 (Ohio Turnpike); and drove off the left side of the roadway. Unit #1 then came back onto the roadway and then lost control; driving back off the left side of the roadway and through the grass median. Unit #2 was traveling northwest on Interstate 76 (Ohio Turnpike) and was struck by Unit #1 as it entered onto the northwest lanes of travel. Unit #2 then jackknifed and slid off the right side of the roadway; striking the guardrail.
