Additional Narrative

Unit #1 and Unit #2 were traveling westbound on SR 579 near the CR 2 intersection. Unit #2 was slowing to a stop as they approached the intersection. Unit #1 failed to maintain assurred clear distance and struck Unit #2 in the rear. Unit #1 came to final rest in the roadway; Unit #2 came to final rest off the right side of the roadway.
