Unit 1 was traveling north on US 127. Unit 2 and Unit 3 were traveling south. Unit 1 drove left of center. Unit 2 swerved right and struck the guardrail and then was sideswiped by Unit 1. Unit 1 struck Unit 3 head on next. Unit 1 came to final rest against the guard rail on the west side of the roadway and caught on fire. Unit 3 came to final rest on the east side of the roadway.
