Unit 1 and Unit 2 were traveling southwest on US Route 23. Unit 1 lost control on the wet roadway; went off the right side of the roadway; and struck a guardrail twice. Unit 2 took evasive action and drove off the left side of the roadway into the median. Unit 1 spun back onto the roadway and went under the trailer attached to Unit 2; traveled off the left side of the roadway; and overturned. Unit 2 traveled back onto the roadway and came to a controlled stop off the right side of the roadway. Unit 3 was traveling northeast on US Route 23 when it was struck by flying debris as the crash occurred.
