During maximum engagement with Unit 2; Unit 1's forward travel ceased; and it was redirected clockwise partially off the southwest side of the roadway also facing generally south. The operator of Unit 1 was able to self-extricate and was then transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for evaluation of serious injuries sustained in the crash.
