Unit #2 a pedestrian walking westbound in the parking lot of 7400 S.R. 176 (Broadview Rd at Giant Eagle) crossing from the aisle to the front doors of Giant Eagle in a southwest direction on the private road open to the public. Unit #1 driving westbound in the same aisle as Unit #2 making a left turn (east to south) on the private road open to the public in front of the building at 7400 S.R. 176. The operator of Unit #1 failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign at the end of the aisle way before turning left. The operator of Unit #1 continued turning without yielding to Unit #2 who was already walking crossing on the private road open to the public. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 from behind with the front driver s side of his vehicle. Unit #1 continued heading south as the pedestrian fell; driven over; and dragged by Unit #1. Further investigation to follow.
