This accident, involving 1 vehicle occurred on Sunday, December 11th 2022 at approximately 5:36 pm. The driver of unknown Chevrolet (2006) unsafe speed. Injuries were reported. An officer from Worthington Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit #1 was driving down the on ramp to SR-315 north from SR-161. Unit#1 accelerated at the bottom of the on ramp to merge onto SR-315 north. Unit#1 failed to maintain reasonable control of the vehicle and drove  to the left across all lanes of travel where  it struck the concrete median wall and drove along the wall. Unit#1 then travelled off the wall and then went  back to the right across the lanes of travel of SR-315 where the vehicle rolled over onto it's top; and slid to final rest in the far right lane. Unit#1 had a composite removeable roof which came apart when the vehicle rolled over; and the Motorist of Unit#1 was secure in the driver's seat by his seat belt. The Motorist of Unit#1 was pronounced deceased at the scene by Worthington Fire Medic 101 paramedic John Mooney at 1737 hours.
