Unit one was traveling east bound on Commerce Pkwy near 651. Unit one left the roadway on the north side and continued traveling east bound through the grass. Unit one then drove through the wooded area east of 651 Commerce Pkwy. Unit one struck several trees and came to rest facing north bound. The operator (Jesse Woodrow) was found deceased in the drivers seat on 10/30/2022 at approximately 17:25 hours. The operator was last seen on 10/29/2022 at approximately 01:30 hours leaving in unit one. Lima Fire Department extracted the entrapped operator. He was transported St. Rita's mortuary. Unit one was impounded at Army's.
