Description

This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Tuesday, November 8th 2022 at approximately 9:33 pm. The driver of silver BMW (2008) unsafe speed. Injuries were reported. An officer from Columbus Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Additional Narrative

On 11/8/2022 at 9:33pm; Dawson White was operating a 2008 BMW northbound on Sawmill Rd. approaching W. Case Rd. At the same time Jane Doe was operating a 2010 Toyota and attempting to turn left from southbound Sawmill Rd. onto eastbound W. Case Rd. The BMW and the Toyota collided within the intersection. Both vehicles came to rest north of the intersection. Columbus Fire responded and pronounced Mr. White dead at the crash scene and transported Jane Doe to Riverside Methodist Hospital in Critical condition. Jane Doe was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit responded to the crash scene and initiated an investigation which is ongoing.
